BADONBURY

The Badonbury series of poems was written in 1958/59

as part of a final art project for a teacher training

course. The task was to make and bind a book

with an art content. I chose to include my drawings of

two Essex villages and used the poems to describe

some of the inhabitants.

Badonbury is a combination of Great Baddow and

Danbury ...the inhabitants do not represent

actual people!
